Location: Southern California, USA
I’ve been creating art in the medium of photography for about 12 years, producing over 2 million exposures. I’ve worked with digital compact, Micro 4/3rds, APS-C, 35mm digital, 35mm film, 645 & 6×7 medium format film, and currently work in 4×5 & 8×10-inch large format film. My current tools are the Intrepid 4×5 & 8×10 field cameras, which I like due to their extremely light weight, simple, durable design, and low cost. My photographic home is in the desert canyons and dunes of the American Southwest, though my love of nature developed during my childhood which was spent roaming the densely forested woodland hills of the rural Northeast in upstate New York. I also enjoy the forests and coastal regions of the American West Coast. My artistic style tends to favor quiet, intimate compositions of peaceful scenes in relatively unknown locations.
I publish regular issues of a photographic journal, or “Zine,” which you can pick up copies of on my website here.
